Groundhog Blues Club presents...
Due to the success of the GROUNDHOG BLUES CLUB, and a promise made to Tony McPhee by his wife Jo, we have great pleasure to invite you to our FIRST one day event, celebrating the amazing skill and variety shown by ACOUSTIC BLUES musicians in Britain.
Featuring eight incredible performances by:
‘UNDER THE WREKIN : ACOUSTIC BLUES’ is being held at the scenic Bowring Park at the foot of the Wrekin hill, in Wellington Shropshire, the town where Tony McPhee happily spent the last 22 years of his life.
With an eye on the weather, all performances will be under canvas in a large marquee with professional stage, sound, lighting rigs and ‘lovely’ merchandise.
The beer tent will be supplied by Wellingtons award winning ‘ROWTON BREWERY’, with a fine selection of Ale and other refreshments.
Food and drinks will be catered for on site, and by extended opening hours of the excellent BOWRING PARK CAFÉ.
